Environmentally Responsible or Desecration?

Why does this little silver filling really create so much controversy with regard to cremation?

Why does this little silver filling really create so much controversy with regard to cremation?

I just read an article that talks about a funeral director in Arkansas that is taking his daughter's suggestion to solve the perceived mercury pollution problem during cremation.  Pull the teeth before cremation!  I pose this question to you.....is this OK?  Is this being environmentally responsible or simply desecration of a corpse?  Does this open the door to pulling teeth for dental gold as well?  Do the studies that show that very little mercury is released into the atmosphere during cremation not contribute to the public's perception?
